Pre-Sales Engineer

Objective:

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to work closely with a sales representative in a defined territory. The PSE's main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and potential BD activities.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration of all BL platforms, products and technologies.
  • Conversant with AI and cognitive applications and solutions.
  • Be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the product and engineering teams to provide material and support.
  • Provide assistance to identified customers with sales training.

Required Skills:

  • 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
  • 2-4 years experience in SW selling
  • Strong understanding of AI, cognitive solutions, security and integration
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: AI, AGI, Cognitive AI.
  • Strong understanding in the following segments: Networking, healthcare, autonomous driving, and/or finance
  • Experience with large global clients
  • Strong presentation skills, and knowledge of working in a phase B well funded start up

 
Education:  Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
