Technical Project Manager

The responsibilities of a project manager are as follows:

  • Heavily collaborate on a daily basis with the software development team
  • Manage to completion (including qualification) projects, on time and within budget
  • Coordinate all necessary resources through end of projects
  • Collaborating with the development team to update and manage project schedules
  • Creating project budgets
  • Take responsibility for project management and financial management of projects
  • Report on project progress and risks
  • Actively participate in project coordination, contractor and scheduling meetings
  • Coordinate development of project cost estimates at different funding gates
  • Work with purchasing group to obtain pricing from contractors, vendors and suppliers

Qualities required

  • 3-5 years of technical project management experience or equivalent organizational work
  • Technical or coding experience and background
  • GUI/ UX experience
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, and act with integrity
  • Good understanding of common corporate Microsoft tools
  • Good time management and organizational skills - the ability to plan work and prioritize
  • PMP or similar qualifications an advantage
  • A background in energy, finance, healthcare or technology industries
  • Ability to ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives

Bachelor's or Master’s degree, related technical field preferable
